Heidi Boyd
About: Heidi co-founded SWIB in 2005/06. In her own career explorations as an undergraduate, Heidi had noticed a shortage of useful, relevant resources and guidance. After being inspired by an all-female panel on business careers, Heidi launched SWIB with several other students. She now works at Boston Consulting Group on a range of projects, and has focused primarily on public education reform and healthcare. Heidi is living in Paris, enjoys exploring the world, and is passionate about gender equality issues across the globe. While at Stanford, Heidi studied Science Technology and Society and minored in Spanish. Heidi was also a Yell Leader, a leader in the Asia-Pacific Student Entrepreneurship Society, and a coach for Global Enterpreneurial Marketing.

Anjali Vaidya
About: A second year student at Harvard Business School, Anjali is focusing on strategy and marketing in the technology sector. She is particularly interested in the intersection between high-technology and media, how existing media companies will build sustainable business models in the digital world. Having worked in both technology (Cisco, Google) and management consulting (McKinsey), Anjali is also interested in entrepreneurship and starting her own media company one day.

Anjali graduated from Stanford with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering, having served as SWIB’s co-President for the 2007-2008 academic year. In her spare time, she loves singing, dancing, and acting. She performed in the HBS Show – a student run musical – and has recently taken up bhangra dancing as well. She misses the sunny skies of California (where she grew up) and hopes to return to the west coast after completing her M.B.A. next June.
