Anjali Vaidya
Anjali Vaidya is a Senior from Fremont, CA majoring in Materials Science and Engineering with a Minor in Economics. She is very interested in strategy and operations work in the high-tech and biotech industries and has worked on both the business and scientific sides of new technology. Anjali's previous work experience includes networking company Cisco Systems, where she worked in Commericial Marketing, and management consulting firm McKinsey and Company, where she conducted strategy work for a healthcare client. At Stanford, she has been an analyst for Stanford Finance and an Executive VP of the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students (BASES). Through BASES she was one of the student organizers of Energy Crossroads 2007, Stanford's first multi-disciplinary conference on the future of clean energy. In her spare time, Anjali loves to go shopping and bike-riding, eat exotic new foods, and read mystery novels. As Co-President of SWIB, she hopes to cultivate the next generation of women business leaders and educate them about the many opportunities in the business world.

Ooshma Garg
Ooshma Garg is a junior from Dallas, Texas, earning a BS in Biomechanical Engineering at Stanford. She has already accumulated a diverse track record of business experience in the Bay area, including work at a local Palo Alto start up company, managing Stanford’s Business Internship Program with Stanford Student Enterprises, and teaching a student-initiated course on Social Entrepreneurship. This past summer, she took part in JPMorgan’s sophomore honors program and interned in healthcare investment banking. In her spare time, she can be found salsa dancing, rock climbing, or eating scrumptious desserts. At Stanford, she's been involved in the Bhangra (Indian Dance) Team, Debate Team, Charity Fashion Show, and Stanford Finance. As Co-President of SWIB, she hopes to apply her creative leadership skills and acquired industry knowledge to leading a strong and successful year for the organization.

Roxanne Teti
Roxanne Teti is a rising sophomore from Santa Barbara, CA who plans to double major in Film and Sociology. She loves using the media for business purposes and is interested in pursuing a career in corporate media. This year, she served as an external events and marketing SWIB intern and was inspired and motivated by SWIB's growing community, talented student members, and speakers. She is intrigued by the power to effectuate awareness of the business world, from a female's perspective. As the VP of Campus Affairs, she will do her best to promote SWIB's mission and attract a vibrant community of the people from whom members will learn and interact.

Anna Khan
Anna H.R. Khan is a sophomore from Lahore, Pakistan planning to major in Political Science and English and minor in STS. Anna is a published poet and strives to make her mark in the financial sector, equally pursuing a career in politics. She interned at City Light Capital this summer, a venture capital firm based in New York City that specializes in homeland security, alternative energy and media. Last year she was involved with numerous groups on campus including Sanskriti, the UAR board, A cappella, Frosh Council, the IR Journal and the SWIB mentorship program. This year she is Associate Elections Commissioner for Media, Financial Manager for Sanskriti and Director of Public Relations for the Sophomore Class Cabinet. Anna strives to bring together a community of ambitious businesswomen by emphasizing collaboration, business education, and a hands-on experience approach.

Leslie Georgatos
Leslie is a junior from Dallas, Texas, studying Economics and International Relations. She became interested in business and entrepreneurship by watching her dad work with international start-ups in telecom and other industries. In building a background in finance, she interned at Citigroup this past summer and is involved in related student groups including Society for Entrepreneurship in Latin America (SELA), Stanford Finance, and Asia-Pacific Student Entrepreneurship Society (ASES). She likes learning new languages and traveling (she's learning Mandarin and hopes to study for a quarter in Beijing) and is looking forward to contributing to a fantastic year for SWIB.

Laura Gravley
Laura hails from a small costal town in Washington State. She is a sophomore majoring in International Relations with a minor in Spanish. Her business interests include personal wealth management, consulting and eventually pursuing a career in social entrepreneurship. Aside from SWIB Laura has been involved in Stanford Native American Organization, Young Life Community Outreach and Cornerstone Campus Ministries. Outside of school Laura enjoys running, socializing and adventuring.

Kristine Li
Kristine Li is a sophomore from Hong Kong planning to major in Economics. She has had summer work experiences in marketing for a broadcast company as well as in corporate banking and hopes to pursue a career in finance. Beyond the classroom, Kristine enjoys eating, trying to golf and travelling; she is also deeply enthusiastic about community service through teaching, and her travels have taken her to rural China and Nepal to work with underprivileged children. As co-event director for SWIB, she is committed to making SWIB's events always bigger and better.
Sarah Catanzaro
Sarah Catanzaro is majoring in international relations and minoring in art history. Her academic focus is on issues of national security, particularly concerning nuclear terrorism. Immediately after she concludes her undergraduate studies, she hopes to pursue a career in consulting. However, ultimately she would like to work in the defense industry. The past two summers, Sarah has interned at a marketing agency, RTC Relationship Marketing, associated with Y&R Advertising. She has worked on various campaigns, including Abbott Health Care, Campbell's Soup Co., and Samsung. This fall, Sarah is studying in France, but she is looking forward to returning in the winter.

Jacqueline Chein
Jacqueline is a junior from San Francisco majoring in International Relations with a minor in Communication. She is currently a sales agent at Beacon Real Estate with internships at Triton Funding Group and Sonim Technologies, and she plans to pursue a career in marketing or international business. Jacqueline enjoys singing, dancing, painting, and traveling and is very proud to be part of the leadership core for an organization that motivates and inspires women.

Melissa Hsiao
Melissa is a freshman from Los Angeles planning to major in Economics. This past summer, she gained invaluable experience interning at the Bank of New York Mellon, working in the Risk Management and Compliance Department, and she plans on pursuing a career in marketing or finance. In her spare time, Melissa can be found playing tennis, reading novels, or eating blueberries.
Mentorship Director
Melike Abacioglu
Melike Abacioglu is from Istanbul, Turkey. She is a junior majoring in Chemical Engineering. She interned at Mercer HR Consulting in Health & Benefits Practice this summer in San Francisco and at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Turkey the previous summer. She is currently working as a Glaxo Smith Kline USA Stanford campus consultant. She is doing research in Stanford Genome Center. Melike works with 85 Broads Stanford Chapter, too. She is also a writing tutor for SLE and she enjoys learning different languages and yes many of them. She and the current Senate chair puts on ethnic dance performances for special events on campus promoting understanding between different cultures bringing out their common rhythms together on one stage. She loves dance and can't stand without hitting a volleyball when she sees one. She brings selected mentees and the top business firms together under this year's amazing Mentorship Program!

Lillian Tsay
Lillian is a junior from Saratoga, California majoring in Economics. She has enjoyed rewarding summer experiences as a marketing intern at a telecommunications start up and as an intern at a biopharmaceutical company, both in the Bay Area. She is passionate about giving back to the community and is looking forward to spearheading SWIB's inaugural philanthropy effort. She plans to target opportunities in aiding and promoting education, health, and literacy.
