areas such as contracts, editorial, graphic design, managing editorial,
marketing, production, publicity, sales, subsidiary rights, and operations. In

The approximate dates of the Fall 2009 internship are September 14-November 20
(10 weeks total), and interns work 14 hours per week.

Do you want to work for a start-up? Peek (www.getpeek.com) is a VC-funded wireless email startup with offices in Oakland, CA and New York City. Peek is both a personal mobile email device and service provider – meaning we are not ‘tied’ to a network provider such as AT&T or Verizon. The goal of our product is to provide a simple, straightforward and elegant solution to mobile email that is not only stylish but affordable. We are actively looking for new interns / part time employees for our Oakland office to help with a variety of product marketing and product management initiatives. You’ll help us analyze the latest technology, vendors and best practices to ensure we are on the cutting edge of consumer mobile email. This is a great opportunity to get product marketing experience with a start-up company in an active and interesting market space.

We are also looking to fill at least one part-time position in Oakland immediately, which has the potential to transition to a full-time Summer internship depending on performance and other market variables. |
