Claremont McKenna College is proud to announce our new Master’s Program in Finance. In the fall of 2007 one of our alumni, Robert Day, gave an historic 200 million dollar gift to the College. This gift has allowed us to fully develop the Master’s Program and bring in our first class in the Fall of 2009. The gift also provides for substantial merit-based scholarship support for admitted students.
The one year Program is designed to teach students effective deployment of complex financial management tools. Rather than focus on how to construct such tools as a financial engineering program might, the Program’s focus is on how to select tools and manage an organization from the financial perspective. We are still accepting applications for the program and any interested students should feel free to contact me for additional information.
Highlights of the program include:
Generous funding for merit-based scholarships |
Dedicated career services specialist and extensive alumni network |
Excellent faculty with experience both in academics and industry |
Intensive Finance curriculum completed in one year |
Co-curricular program designed to enhance leadership and communication skills, as well as provide access to speakers, conferences, alumni and employers. |
