Mini MBA
Members learn from top professors and experienced upperclassmen in a year-long program designed to expose members to concrete business skills like negotiation, strategy, networking, and marketing.

Power Panels
High-profile panels speakers address subjects such as women in the workplace, daily life as a professional, career paths, and more for their specific industries at events open to the campus. Past industries have included technology, marketing, non-profits, and corporate law.

Fantasy Stock Exchange Competition
Take part in a mock stock market competition and not only learn how to manage your own portfolio, but also receive helpful trading strategies and risk management tips from key speakers in finance, from workshops with the Stanford Blythe Fund, and from informative newsletters.

Springternships
Members apply to participate in part-time 10-week internships during their Spring quarter. Opportunities include consulting, marketing and product management at local companies, especially start-ups.

Mentorship
Members have opportunities to learn from successful businesswomen nationwide as well as from students at the Graduate School of Business through 1-on-1 interactions, group meetings, and job shadows.

Business Bites
Small groups of Members meet over lunch, dinner or coffee with one businesswoman to get in-depth conversaton about career-building. Speakers come from a variety of fields.

Business Conferences
Students within and outside the Stanford community can take part in SWIB's two annual conferences in the Winter and Spring, which provide workshops, panels, and receptions designed to prepare tomorrow's businesswomen for successful careers.

Corporate Events
Members attend industry panels, luncheons and dinners with companies that teach about what their day-to-day lives are like and offer tips on the application process.

Company Visits
Members visit Bay Area companies and attend information sessions, tour the offices, and meet and network with professionals. Companies visited have included: Bloomberg, Barclay's, IDEO, and more.
